McCampbell Analytical, Inc. Our CA ELAP and NELAP-accredited aquatic toxicology lab provides freshwater and marine bioassay testing to evaluate toxicity impacts from effluent, stormwater, and remediation projects. McCampbell Analytical offers advanced PFAS testing with ultra-trace detection limits for 40+ PFAS compounds in soil and groundwater and 18 compounds in drinking water. Accredited under CA ELAP, NELAP, and DoD ELAP, we support regulatory compliance, litigation support, wastewater monitoring, and drinking-water PFAS action levels using EPA Methods 537.1, 533, and 1633.

Our materials laboratory identifies unknown solids, minerals, corrosion scale, crystalline silica, and industrial residues using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and ATR-IR spectroscopy. MAI offers enhanced organic-lead analysis using dual GC-MS/MS systems—delivering ultra-low detection limits, improved selectivity and fast turnaround for soil and water investigations. Ideal for former fuel-site redevelopments, UST monitoring and residual contamination assessments.
MAI performs advanced microplastics analysis in drinking water, surface water, wastewater, and environmental samples using validated microscopy-based identification. We quantify particle size, morphology, and polymer type to support regulatory compliance, watershed monitoring, and research programs.
MAI provides highly sensitive nitrosamine testing—including NDMA, NDEA, NDBA, and others—using EPA Method 521.1 instrumentation capable of detecting down to 2 ng/L. Ideal for drinking water systems, remediation, and industrial process monitoring where nitrosamine formation is a concern.
Using state-of-the-art LC-MS/MS methods, MAI detects 6-PPD-Q and related tire-additive transformation products at ultra-low concentrations in stormwater, surface water, and runoff samples.
